Principal

Ronald is responsible for all legal aspects and oversight of transactions for Coastal Partners, LLC.

Prior to founding Coastal Partners, LLC, Ronald was in private practice for over 35 years, specializing in real estate and business law. During that time he was a founder and President of Occidental Services, Inc., a company specializing in the foreclosure of trust deeds, and also founder and President of Commercial Finance Center, a mortgage bank specializing in providing short-term loans on income-producing properties and in acquiring loans from banks, savings and loans, and thrift companies. From 1975 through 1995 Ronald syndicated real estate acquisitions and served as the Managing General Partner of 27 limited partnerships which owned and operated an aggregate 31 properties in eight states.

In 1977, with two partners, Ronald formed J.D. Alexander and Associates, Inc., a full service real estate company. From the company’s inception through dissolution in 1992, Ronald served as Chairman and CEO. The company’s focus was acquisition, development, disposition, management, and leasing of income properties, including multi-unit residential, office, strip and neighborhood sized shopping centers, and industrial/warehouse properties.

Ronald’s business and legal experience also enabled him to develop substantial expertise in negotiating and structuring equity and debt formation, and loan reorganization.

Ronald joined Sierra Crest Equities, LLC as a Principal in 1997.

Ronald was a Founder of 1st Business Bank, now Mellon 1st Business Bank, in Los Angeles in 1981. He received  BA and JD degrees from the University of Illinois and is licensed to practice law in the state of California. Ronald is also a licensed Real Estate broker in the state of California.
